Pipeline is one of the jost important equipment to transport oil, gas, condensate, steam, and water. Its roles have been recognized by people in the process industries. The knowledge of pipeline such as standard, manufacturing process, mechanical properties, testing methods, and failure modes are very important for the designers, operators, and inspectors. The Pipeline Training will cover the above issues and will be presented by experience instructors that have working as consultant for oil and gas companies in Indonesia for more than a decade. They will bring their own experiences to the classroom and discuss some actual cases related to the pipeline.
OBJECTIVES To introduce pipeline standard such as ASTM, API, ANSI, ASME and DNV. - To explain the detail of pipeline manufacturing process
- To introduce the typical mechanical properties of pipeline following their standard
- To introduce the testing methods that determine the quality of the pipeline
- To discuss some important failure modes of the pipeline based on the actual cases.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND - Pipeline engineers
- Pipeline inspector
- Pipeline Operators
- Others that need to broadened their knowledge about the pipeline.
